Helping the oppressed ... or killing them, whatever suits my mood. Let me put it this way: If you accept being oppressed, you deserve no free life. Without freedom, life is meaningless. It will be a pleasure for me to put you out of your misery.

Freedom though is not the right to do whatever you want. Such a behaviour would lead to anarchy. Anarchy leads into a struggle for survival. Only the strongest win this struggle. The degradation of the body due to age and the rivalry with others leads to oppression in order to maintain a leading position. If your goal is to oppress others, you do not deserve to live.

Achieving freedom requires emancipation of all forms of Indoctrination, open-mindedness to allow you to increase your knowledge and wisdom and tolerance to accept that there might be more than one correct answer to the many questions life raises.
