Sean went into a cold sleep capsule, just after the wormhole was found around Earths system. The spark of exploration, was a heady drug, that he couldn't resist. However, an intersteller mishap caused the ship he was on to lose power, and change trajectory. Sean and 400 fellow explorers were lost to time. Recently, the Amarr came across the ship from old Earth. They found most of the cold sleep recipeants, still alive, though cryogenically suspended. The Amarr decided that they should be revived and tested. John found himself "recruited" by the Amarr and tested, where they found that he was a prime candidate for pilot training. After initial training and indoctrination (which didn't work, though he was smart enough to conceal that...) Sean was turned into a Pilot for the Amarr empire. Now, he waits for the time when he can escape.
