Zefru Moss was born on a rugged outpost in the distant reaches of space. Raised among the stars, Zefru's life was shaped by the vast, unpredictable beauty of deep space. From a young age, Zefru showed an affinity for order, discipline, and a deep reverence for the diverse cultures that existed across the galaxy. While the rest of the colony was focused on extracting precious minerals from asteroid fields, Zefru spent their childhood observing ancient ruins and studying the history of space-faring civilizations from a far. A natural protector with a love for adventure, Zefru eventually enlisted in the Wormhole Police Department (WHPD) to combine their skills in law enforcement with their passion for safeguarding the galaxy’s most sacred relics and critical systems.

Over time, Zefru's talents and passion for preserving galactic culture led them to safeguard the wormholes in New Eden. These wormholes are home to sensitive cultural landmarks, some of which are thousands of years old. The wormholes themselves are known to hold relics and artifacts of ancient civilizations, many of which could be destroyed by careless travelers or malicious forces. As a result, Zefru’s days are filled with routine patrols, intense training exercises, and the daunting task of ensuring that cultural landmarks are preserved amid the chaos of interstellar traffic. With an unparalleled commitment to both the security of the galaxy and the protection of its diverse cultures.

In addition to their law enforcement duties, Zefru is deeply involved in the Blood Raiders Children's Charity, an initiative that supports the children of fallen soldiers and officers, especially those who served in the high-risk regions of space. Zefru’s connection to the charity is personal. During their early years Zefru lost several close colleagues in a raid that claimed the lives of entire teams stationed near the Wormhole Complex.

No officer in the galaxy is ever truly alone, especially not Zefru Moss. The companionship of their loyal police dogs Zena and Zooey has been a source of strength and comfort throughout their career. Zooey, a sleek, highly-trained K-9 Scout, is Zefru’s first line of defense when approaching unknown situations. With her keen senses and sharp instincts, Zena, a massive, gentle-hearted tracker, is the counterbalance to Zooey’s sharp focus. Known for her patience and unyielding determination, Zena is Zefru's companion during high-risk operations.
