The only child of Mao and Yue Sheng, Nv started life as a navy brat moving from posting to posting with his parents. At 17 He joined the Amarr Navy dreaming of becoming the Grand Admral of the Imperial Fleet. That wasn't to happen, however. After a training accident left him without a ship, he was discharged from the Navy for gross negligence and dreiliction of duty. Only the connections his parents had within the Imperial Academy allowed him to find a job as a piliot.

After a brief stint running missions for the Imperial Academy, Sheng moved into Calrari space with some friends he had made amongst his fellow pod piliots, and began to run missions for the Sukuuvesta Corporation.

Then tragedy struck. His parents were killed, along with a few thousand others, when a Sancha's Nation squadron attacked a luxury liner and destroyed it.
