Berilyn Dorien does not strike the eye as a capsuleer. A calm woman with a quiet voice and intense spirituality, Dorien seems more suited for a life of peaceful contemplation and meditation than the carnage which is her demesne. Dorien’s bridge remains a bastion of serenity, even amidst the chaos of battle.

While Dorien is a loyal scion of Caldari, she is also something of a xenophile. New cultures excite her, new ways of approaching the world, new possibilities...and new ways of waging war. Berilyn eschews the direct combat tactics traditionally associated with the Caldari, and instead pursues a more holistic form of combat. While her comrades take the fight directly to the enemy, Berilyn prefers to hang back, providing support to her fellow captains while her drones ravage opposition forces. This approach synthesizes Gallente, Caldari, and Minmatar combat philosophy to produce something new. Something deadly as well, as many of Berilyn’s foes have found out.
