Jen grew up in a militaristic atmosphere. Her father was a "ground pounder" within the Amarr military might. Both her parents were very strict and demanded perfection in all tasks.
When she was of age she joined the armed services herself, more to follow in her father's footsteps than her own desire for battle. It wasn't until her father's death that she realized she had a different path to walk.
The only thing she feels certain of is that her home is among the stars, not in the trenches on a battle-torn planet. Despite that, she will never forget the lesson her father drummed into her as far back as she can remember:
Never attack what your enemy defends;
Never behave as your enemy expects;
Never show your true strength, for if
knowledge is power, then to be unknown
is to be unconquerable.
