The drake emerged tentatively from the pulsating wormhole. As the sensor glare faded from the turbulant transition, the drake began slipping out its sensory drones, gently probing the tender recesses of this new space. Unbidden, the probes discovered something new, something strange.

The harbinger's hull glistened smoothly in the pale light of the binary sun. From across the system, their sensors locked. The harbinger moved closer, circling. The drake's rough hull, studded with course protrusions was a stark contrast to the harbinger's smoothness.

Hesitent, yet willing, the harbinger yielded to its base desires as their orbits crossed. The drake's hard, throbbing missile bays pulsed vigorously, penetrating the harbinger's shields with ease. "No!" the harbinger broadcast on comms, but there was no warp disruption, and the harbinger made no move to leave...
