I spent the first three months of my game training in Tartoken system (0.1 sec) and losing a ship a day on average, then a ship a week and gradually I learned... I didn't talk to anyone and I didn't get into the never-ending reading of the tactical this, and the How-to that.
Now I know better. I happened to be in 0.9 sec space when I saw someone chatting in local that was describing good fits for my Cormorant. I got talking and, before long, I was in a corp and then an alliance. I had new ideas for ship fits and was starting to tank the missions.
I've reached a point where I can solo-tank a lvl4 mission without too much bother and I've realized that there must be many people, like me, trying to get started, but just don't have the knowledge or don't feel like reading all the literature. There must be people who have finished School and saying, Now What?
