Elayne Al'Kea had it easier than most Mercs, her Father and Mother had both been extremly successful mercenaries and retired to a nice\xa0life planet side. Elayne was provided with everything she could possibly want, and her parents tried very hard to shelter her from the many Wars that were brewing in the heavens. But like her parents before her, she looked to the sky, and saw only opportunity.
When she told her parents of her descision to become a Capsuleer they were furious and threatened to cut her off from the families wealth.
