It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity. This phenomenon is intensified in the Capsuleer, who, having largely left their humanity behind, starts to regress into a deathless creature of pure impulse. Far more rarely, they ascend to great heights of achievement and benevolence, but I fear the majority would see the potential of mankind wasted at the whim of mad tyrants. I fear for our children. I fear for our futures...

...but most of all, I fear the day they cannot recognise those they left behind in their mad scrabble for godhood.
