Dom Darno recently decided a life in space held more promise than one landside, so he took the required courses to become a capsuleeer. Then he spent his whole life savings on his capsule clone and bought an Ibis to get off the ground. Once in space he found a group of miners looking for new recruits and joined the Hyperion Mining Corporation.

But, never being one happy to follow, he soon outgrew Hyperion, and created the Diamond Deep Space Mining Consortium. Diamond's goal, to supply manufacturers with the required minerals to advance their trades. Soon, he began to realize that he could do better actually manufacturing products of superior quality, therefore, he opened his manufacturing division.
