I like pie. Strawberry-rhubarb, blueberry, apple, lemon meringue, black currant, pumpkin, pecan, pear, key lime... even non fruit pies like shepard's pie, chicken/turkey pot pie, and steak and kidney pie.

Maybe it's the fact that pie has delicious, buttery, light pastry. When you have that, who cares about what's inside it really?

I find it way better than cake. I think we should have birthday pie instead of birthday cake. I don't trust cake. You know sometimes when you get that feeling that something isn't right... like they are evil? That's the feeling I get from cake.
