Born on Onazel IX, Velshoon's parents were already advanced in age at his birth. At their deaths, he was taken in by his Holder Uncle. Given the chance to rule his family's lands at his majority, he instead chose to give them to his Uncle, and joined the Imperial Navy. He has since retired, but still seeks to protect and provide for the Empire he holds dear.
