Born into slavery on the Amarr world of Thasinaz V, her parents gave their lives so their children could live a free life in the Minmatar Republic. They managed to smuggle Fijaza and her brother onboard a Hoarder-class industrial that brought them out of Amarr sovereignty and into the backwater region of Molden Heath. That is where the story ends. No one knows how, at the ages of three and four, her brother and her survived, nonetheless both becoming capsuleers.
