I wasn't a very smart slave. And in the end, that's how I got my freedom....

You see, I was owned by an Amarr woman that didn't know what to do with a slave since she'd never owned one before.

I was a gift from her mother.

So, after half a dozen years of putting up with her "fun" and after one of her large social events, I was sent to clean out her rookie ship that hadn't been cleaned or touched in twice that amount of time.

Unfortunally for her, she didn't know I could read.

Also unfortunally for her, she forgot that she left all of her duplicate skill-books in the same said ship.

Needless to say, after 24 hours of "cleaning", I was happily staring at the outgoing end of a launch tube and haven't looked back since.

Now, you ask how is my being "not so smart" a part of this escape?

Let's just say that after reading the Frigate manual 4 times over I still couldn't figure out how to launch the ship...

And let's just say that as I was bending over to pick up a carelessly left 1 million ISK note that was sitting on the floor, my "rear-end" just happened to bump against said launch button.....
