It started when I was 11, on vacation, with my family, and I can still clearly remember visiting that gigantic station, that my family had a 14-day multipass to. My left hand held tightly to my mother's hand, as we walked past the ridiculously long window of the external wall of the 17th District. A couple hundred meters away, just coming out of the station, a beautiful cruiser glimmered in the system's sun. It was a warship, going off to destroy our enemies, in glorious battle, and all I could think about was someday piloting one of those magnificent ships.
