Lucia was scouting a wormhole five and a half years ago when she encountered a strange hostile alien ship. She survived that encounter, but not without her ship being completely disabled and her capsule crippled. Without functioning communications, propulsion, probes, or drones, Lucia was forced to put herself in hypersleep, hoping that eventually a friendly ship would happen by.

After five and a half years, her computer woke her. An unknown ship had approached with salvage drones picking apart the remains of her ship. It clearly did not know or did not care that someone had survived in the wreck. Without any good way to communicate, Lucia did the only thing she could think of. She ejected her capsule in a collision course with the mysterious ship, hoping they would show mercy.

All she remembers next is a strange blue light and a flash. When she next regained consciousness, she was again in Gallente space.
