Born into wealth. Raised by the elite. Bred for war. The beginnings of the pilot Gaestro were normal for an upperclass Caldarian youth. Galactic parlays to the edge of known space as a military apprentice to his father. Sitting privy to endless business dealings with his half-Amarrian mother, often taking place in the holiest sites to be found in the Empire. From merciless slaughter on the frontiers to the vast sums that passed before his eyes, Gaestro saw power.
He saw power. He hated power. Unlike his forebearers, Gaestro could not simply pass off the images of so many crippled merchant vessels and the cries of those aboard echoing in the com as a little indigestion after a full meal of destruction. Nor could he erase the eyes of the helpless as they begged for his mother's mercy when faced with the terms of their transactions. He could not forget. He torturously recalled. He painfully relived.
Now as immortal as his memories, Gaestro is his own.
