During the Concordium wars, many UFS pilots were dispatched to fight knowing they would never return - a lucky few made it back.
These brave souls were once again called into service for the cause during the Octavian/Solrain/Quantar skirmsh of 2004-2005. During these skirmish's and thinning of our number still further the dicision was made to join forces with a similary idealed Micro Empire - The Octavian Vanguard. This merger was to last for many moons until again, UFS was forced to vanish into shadow.
Now, the sons and daughters of the once mighty UFS fleets are reborn.
Through hardship and grief, tragedy and pain - we stand once again.
Though our number be few and our fleets be simple our hearts remain true to that what was, and eternally will be - the Spice is FOREVER.
