Even though it was raining, disregarding the knot I had in my stomach...
I was watching the waves roll in, and I found a shell that was perfect and round and smooth to the touch.
But then I looked back to the others and saw the body just laying there, all of them circled around it. I felt a crunch in my hand, and I looked down and my hand was bleeding but I didn't feel it at all. That was the first time I ever known of that feeling...
I've wanted to say something but couldn't. It just stayed there, that feeling, and I just stood there, frozen...
And deep down... I am grinning... because I never got caught...
