Found abandoned in a discarded cargo container on a hangar floor, Kogz was brought up and raised working as a ship's mechanic. As with all young adults, he became addicted to speed and spent every last isk on modifying a tweaking his ships to get that extra 10% out of even the fastest of ships. Unfortunately, for some, this need for speed not just a phase and Kogz went on to become one of skilled Interceptor pilots in the Freelance Assassins. Having no love for the Battleships that so many in the galaxy aspire to, Kogz kept his mind on the smaller more agile ships but, occasionally, would get himself a Cruiser class ship and work his magic on it so that even the fast frigates of the galaxy struggled to keep pace. So if you're happily speeding along and a Minmatar vessel passes you in a blur of speed, just remember not to flip him off because once you're in his sights there is nowhere you can run to that he can't catch you.
