A fighter from birth, William "Ironwill" McRae knew early that a life in the military was his destiny. But things weren't as easy getting there as he would have like.

Several accidents plaqued William from the beginning of his training. His first flight in the trainer ended in misfortune, as the spacecraft's equipment malfunctioned and crash landed in the carrier. This left him scarred early in his career.

Through all other trails and tribulations, William overcame everything put in his path, not only succeeding in his endeavors for piloting a starship, but earning the respect from those he met along the way, earning the name "Ironwill Mac" from his peers.

Ironwill is now flying and living his dream among the stars. He finally got the break he was looking for when he was recommended for an open slot on a ship by one of his close friends. But only time will tell whether he has a place with the legends in the stars.
