Lao Dangtze was born to a rich family of planet bound inventors and intellects but dreamed of living among the the stars all his life. After his primary education he told his parents he wanted to learn space ship command and how to mine. "I want to live amongst the stars, I want to stay up 30 hours straight mining Veldspar, I want to be rich!" His parents disowned him, and Lao spent the last five years scrubing null gravity tiolets to buy his first ship. Now he is amongst the stars at last and determined to prove to his parents that mining asteriods all day is a profession worthy of the Dangtze name.
