A Troubled Past
My first flight as a capsulier was in YC106. It was a different time - when the Caldari State was experimenting with untra-sub-warp technologies. As a test pilot, it wan't uncommon to see multiple afterburners on a single frigate, which led to amazing sub-warp speeds, but it also led to permenant brain damage. The G-forces involved were far more than the human body could endure. Unfortunately, those early days still linger as I've traveled from clone to close.
It was sometime in YC112 that my occupied clone was destroyed in battle defending Ammatarian rebels. But, the mind transfer was not completed as expected. Doctors have told me that the earlier and persistant brain deformation caused a spike in some form of subspace anomolies or some such. That's beyond the scope of my knowledge. What I can say, though, is that I did not wake until well into YC113. By that time, those same Ammatarian rebels had felt the boot of Ammar. Little stood of my old compatriots. And so as a profiteer, I had to move on to the next job.
I was struck once again in YC114 - only a year later. This time, it was so severe that I'm suprised to have recovered at al. I awoke in YC125, and New Eden was nearly unrecognisable. I found that in the interum of nearly 11 years, Most of my assets had been confiscated or stolen. Many of the ships that I had flown into battle, and trusted beyond all hope with my life, were long since gone. My cash assets reduced to a meager billion ISK. But i still had my wits and determination to rebuild.
New Eden has changed so much in those years. There are new ships to experience, new aliances to explore, new advantures to be had. Over time, I shall regain what I have lost - once a Caldari privateer, always a privateer. Let the coin be my guide...
