Very little is known of Peregryn's origins except her transition through the State War Academy. It was decided by Peregryn's parents that she would have no knowledge of her past, or the destiny that guides her future. Sent away to live with a military born family, Peregryn was raised in a intensely structured household where the smallest mistake was rewarded with extreme punishment. As she grew older, she began to resent the people who had taken her in as a child and left the only family she had ever known at an unknown age.
