After an unfortunate accident in the Navy involving panda bear DNA, whipped cream, and a tricycle, Jaelyn was discharged from active duty. The loss of 3,278,480,010.04 ISK in Naval assets due to a wrong turn in Hysera had nothing to do with it. She grew to resent the oppressive Navy and its anti-panda bear policies and joined up with local mercenaries to use her knowledge of empire security operations to the benefit of her wallet. Amassing a large fleet of vessels, a private Navy of her own, she set out among the stars in search of fortune and infamy. She soon realized that trying to manage this was assinine and she was Bad At All The Things. After selling off her fleet, she took an interest in traveling lightly and trained to become a competent explorer. Long before the discovery of wormholes, before the masses traveled the vast empty regions between systems, Jaelyn was there; in a poorly fit T1 vessel, dodging disco doms and losing all her armor in gate camps. She still sucks.
