During shore-leave she met a strange, intense Amarran named Balgaroth.
He engaged her in conversation about religion, philosophy and the meaning of life
as we know it.

She was intrigued by this man, he had a passion she had never seen the equal of.
He had something that she had felt she lacked over the past few years, a cause.
Something to strive for and believing you are doing exactly what you are supposed
to do with your life.

They continued to meet over the following weeks, and it ended in her defecting from
her commission to take up her place at the side of her new mentor and partner, Balgaroth.
