A short story about a bunny:

There was once this bunny. He had fur and ears and all the other assorted bunny parts that one might imagine a bunny would have. One day said bunny was out for a stroll when he was beaten and raped by a bunny with slightly darker fur than his own. His ego destroyed, along with the elasticity of his sphincter, the little bunny hobbled home to his family. After being greeted at the door by his wife and two adorable month-old baby bunnies, Mr. Bunny settled into his favorite chair, packed his favorite pipe, put on his favorite record, and shot himself in the face with his favorite shotgun. In short, don't trust those who're different than you. The end.
