Every culture has it's share of deviants and freethinkers. Those who reject the conventions and archetypes with which a society confines itself in an attempt to define it's existence. This is true even for the Gallente where at first it may seem that deviation is the norm.
For those Amarr who manage to shake free of the quagmire of doctrine and mental conditioning to which they have been subjected, this is a particularly rewarding but lonely path. As they look ahead to a vast universe filled with previously unimagined intellectual riches, they may at times look behind, and see only burning bridges and grasping shadows.
