During his studies at the University of Caille Mordikye became sympathetic to the Sani Sabik faith. In the years following he has taken every opportunity to launch expeditions into deep, unknown space to research legends and archeological findings that suggest the Takmahl, a group of ancient Amarrian peoples, may have left evidence of what the religion once was before the Blood Raiders corrupted it into the taboo it is today.

These searches have often led to other discoveries. The design and manufacture of ships using sleeper technology saw contributions from Mordikyes' early teams. His interpretation of the Sani Sabik faith has also attracted a small following among his peers. Their practices and rituals are rarely seen by the majority of the workforce involved.
