The son of an Amarrian Space Pilot who was turned into a vegetable by forgetting to update his medical clone before going into battle. Mal'ameer's family was further stricken when his mother was taken as a war trophy one day when she was out collecting slaves to feed the family. So as a teenager Mal'ameer was left alone to fend for himself.

He finished his formal education in Slaving dynamics and joined the first ship leaving as a lowly midshipman. Mal'ameer excelled in his first posting and soon become a full share member of the crew.

Through the years he worked hard for his various captains until one day he was the first officer for an aging pod pilot. After a particularly lucrative foray into Minmitar space the captain called Mal'ameer into his office in space dock and offered Mal'ameer the keys to the pod at a price he could not say no to.
