Bio
On the island studded world of Henebene 5, where I first sailed fast ships, it is said, "There is no law in losec, and no God in null." That is the world of the smuggler, or the "small package trade" if you like. That was the business I was in. I hauled freight through dangerous places for a price, no questions asked. I flew cloaked viators with names like "Summer Breeze." They were fast, unnoticed, and well nigh invisible. All was well until I lost 2 viators in one day. A ship that was never caught, or even detected for years gets shot out of the starlanes not once but twice, all in one day, by 2 different gate camps! I saved my capsule both times, and luckily I had no cargo on either run, but it didn't take a genious to realize it was over. They had some type of instant targeting mechanism: death for a smuggler. Now my creditors are closing in. If you hear of an "accident in the clone vats" realize it was no accident...
