Her implant jacks and neural interfaces are modified to allow better access to her ships computer systems though there appears to be reinforced points, possibly for better dataflow or something else.

Her ships communication broadcasts nodes are all heavily reinforced as well leading to some to believe she's trying to prevent something from accessing her ships systems..or perhaps, from getting out.
