Born in the Minmatar Republic of Katugumur, Shada StarFinder, an aspiring physicist, developed the special theories of Particle/Wave Duality and M-Theory. Shada won the Unified Space Alliance Prize for Particle Physics for her explanation of the Quantum Optic effect. Shada is considered one of the most influential physicists in the Minmatar Exceptional Scientist Circles.

As an example of Shada's work in pure mathematics, she cites her application of techniques from quantum field theory to the mathematical subject of low-dimensional topology. In the late 1980s, Shada coined the term "Topological Quantum Field Theory" for a certain type of physical theory in which the expectation values of observable quantities encode information about the topology of spacetime. In particular, Shada realized that a physical theory now called Chern–Simons theory could provide a framework for understanding the mathematical theory of knots and 3-manifolds.
