Buju Banton was born in the medical facility on Jita 4-4. The son of a beautiful Caldari woman, heiress to the Caldari Steel fortune, and a mysterious Minmatar man who was in fact the Loch Ness Monster. Shunned by their families for their interracial love the Bantons were forced to move to Jamaica colony, a fledgeling colony on Hadozeko VI - Moon 11.

The Bantons prospered on Jamaica colony, operating a agri-factory developing Sweet Sensi Weed™. Sadly young Buju lost his parents to a Sansha incursion before he was even old enough to walk like a champion. Only being covered in cocaine allowed Buju to evade capture by the mindless Sansha Rapemachines. He was the sole survivor of the colony.
