First - Do No Harm.
But Then...
Today's Tip:
DISCLAIMER: I'm a casual player. I'm not an expert or even close. I keep learning things I should have known but didn't. I like to try new, interesting ways of doing and learn from experience. Look to the experts for true knowledge.
There are gankers out there who make it their mission to take out complacent miners and steal their loot especially in hi sec. You'll lose your boat, your pod, and your clone. What to look out for:
an apparent newbie sticking to you like a glove
That's about it. Because the next thing is some heavy hitters moving in fast and furious and taking you out. Advice? Leave as soon as you know that non-mining newbie is a little too close. This especially applies to the low tanked retriever and hulk, but can also apply to other boats as well. If you're in a low tanked vessel, better not to afk unless you're in a fleet or there's tons of other miners around.
Fly safe, my Caps -- in Eve and in life.
