Record indicate that Pertrenius was born some where in the Kainokai Constallation, likly on some small asteroid mining facility.

After his acceptance into the School of Applied Knowledge records become more reliable. Pertrenius studied weapons and drone technology and manufacturing methods and was generally thought of as a bright pupil.
It was during his second year that he was diagnosed with Ceguiras Disease, a retrovirus that causes a blindness and a slow necrosis of the flesh.
It was shortly after this that he enrolled in the capsuleer program.
