All eyes were cast upward to the sky.
The Scaffold -- the Moon herself -- was disintegrating into flame above them.

The world was coming to an end. Soon the fires would claim the planet as well.
All that was left was to pray. And so they prayed.

"Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us."
"Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, grant us peace."

And then, the skies themselves caught aflame. And there was peace.
