Kanno wasn't so much born as he was manufactured. Kanno tHyde was born under batch 345 section 4A. He was raised under the guidance of the Caldari Navy from age 4, as Invetro clones mature much faster psychologically than conventionally born humans. Kanno has no patients for Pirates. This may be due to the fact that he was the sole survivor of a shipwreck deep within the Vapor Sea. While on a deep space exploration mission into the Vapor Sea Kanno tHyde's ship was suddenly impacted by a micro asteroid field that was traveling at quite a rapid rate. Kanno managed to make it to an escape shuttle with another crewmate, but while fleeing the crippled exploration shuttle was struck in the head by a micro asteroid that had punctured the hull of his shuttle and somehow managing to loose enough speed between going through the shuttles hull and his crewmates chest. Kanno was later picked up floating adrift in the lifeless shuttle by Pirates and forced into a life of slavery.
