In 1985, Ghaanz was recruited by the Sebiestor Office of Naval Intelligence\xa0(SONI) to develop advanced missile technology. He revolutioned the missile technology field by developing superior guidiance, targeting, and flight systems that put SONI ahead of any serious competition. Evidence of his work can be found in advanced missiles to include the "Fury" and "Precision" missile lines.

During the 1990s, he worked on top secret programs for the Minmater military, procuring Gallente, Caldari, and other exotic alien weaponry for testing to include Sleeper, Talocan, and Takmahl Technologies.

He later became a businessman and arms dealer. His lifestyle mirrored that of a\xa0soldier of fortune and he was known to routinely carry a thermal-seismic weapon slung across his shoulder with a cigar in his mouth muttering about grabbing alot of "pussy."
