Like most Caldari ensigns, I was assigned command of a vessel early in my career, and like so many before me, I was bested in battle against the Gallentean forces. Captured, I was taken in as a prisoner of war but after seeing how the inner workings of democracy appeased the general masses I could not deny that they were infact superior, as a government, and thus I converted. My natural charisma took me far and got me into workings with the higher-ups relatively early in my Gallentean military carrer. Soon I was working for the force's top brass and was given special priveledge to test the military's aptly named "Proteus" prototype modual space cruiser.
