Growing up on a very large farming operation Masintra had to learn things the hard way. With no time for recreation and near slave labor conditions on the farm due to harsh economic times and double digit interest rates, Masintra developed strict discipline and strong work habits.

After coming of age Masintra joined the Gallente military. With his excellent skillset he quickly gained rank and recognition amongst his comrades. With hostile operations against the Caldari diminishing Masintra was sent to the Caldari military as an exchange program to promote interculture cooperation. Masintra was happy to comply as he had a fond interest in Caldari missile technology.

Masintra was badly injured after returning to the Gallente military a decade later. The accident to this day still has unanswered questions. Although no longer in the military Masintra still maintains his military contacts to both Gallente and Caldari officers.
