Gallente defectors rarely settle in the empire instead finding themselves working for various concerns in Caldari Space, the Caldari get to needle their Gallente rivals, and gain a certain amount of plausible deniability not to mention expertise in drone systems from their network of defectors, and both the Caldari and allies gain the use of independent contractors who can hardly be accused of racial bias. Those defectors with military experience often find themselves acting as paramilitaries for factions on the fringes of the state.

The Gallente defectors have been of particular use in putting down the various outposts of Sanshas nation, going so far as to outfit their ships with the spoils from such victories.
