Cal Rogers was born in a small mining colony in Cistuvaert System, Since his childhood, Cal always demonstrated a restless spirit and a creative mind, attributes that grew stronger specially after he turned 16 and started to pilot a small mining frigate along with his father and his elder brother, who soon started to feel jealous about Cal\xb4s talents. One day, during a routine mining operation on the outskirts of Renyn System, Cal\xb4s brother bypassed the ship\xb4s operational system and deliberately overcharged the ship\xb4s afterburner while Cal\xb4s was piloting it, in an attempt to blame him for flying carelessly. However, that sabotage went wrong, resulting in the capacitor\xb4s explosion wich almost killed his father. Even after discovering what caused the explosion, Cal still felt partially responsible for the incident, and decided to leave the colony and his family right after his father recovered from the explosion\xb4s injuries, taking that opportunity to pursue his dreams.
