We were hauling Ore across the edge of Caldari space. We never saw those damned Minmatar bastards coming. My whole family hit the pods, but they continued the attack anyway. My parents were too old. My sister... I don't know what they did with her, but I can only hope she's dead. They took me, put me into a mine. Everyday I watched and waited for my chance to get out. One day it came in the form of a Caldari shuttle, crashed beyond the escarpment outside our compound. The four of us who saw it crash found a way out. We walked to kilometers every other night for a year fixing that piece of scrap metal up. We were all fringe freighter kids, so we were used to harsh conditions and even worse equipment. But we got it off the ground. Those boys gave their lives, but I made it out. Now I wear their names as my own with pride. I am Braeden Daemon Lennux.
