About the name. . . .

It's common knowledge that Descartes wrote "Cogito, ergo sum", so i tried to be different and clever and riff off of that. . . .

Instead of 'I think, therefore I am' it was supposed to be 'I am known, therefore I am'. In this case 'known' as meaning recognized, as in having ones deeds known like Achilles or Ulysses. Thats the Homeric vibe that I was going for.

Cognito is the dative of the latin 'cognitus'. It should work. Did I conjucate correctly? Did I even manipulate the phrase correctly? No idea, but back in 2009 I was pretty sure I had it right.

So; instead of being clever, I managed to be both obscure and have everyone think I got a well known phrase all wrong.
