Vermost Rakes was born in Chaven system - in the heart of Amarr Empire. In his childhood he spent a lot of time in various offices and bureaus while his parents were working for Amarr Trade Registry. First toys for him were different office items and documents.

Being an young man Vermost joined Imperial Academy in case of learning Amarr traditions. But after sometime he realised that way of state's servant is not for him and decided to leave Academy. That decision caused some arguments between Vermost and his parents.

After Imperial Academy Vermost stepped into commerce and industry. Soon he also left his home and moved to the centre of galactic business - Caldari state.
